Hello everyone, I have recently finished a small contract to make a, in his words, "Team fortress'y medevil executionist." Over all I'm relatively satisfied with the results...
This big guy hits a little less then 2,300 polys, obviously the normal map is the largest contributor to detail..
And here is a short video showing his mesh, wire, ect...

would be interesting to see what reference your using. I just searched really quick, but found some refs with some cool elements you could pull into your design.

Also what rhinokey said... you need to work on your presentation. use a grey background or something other than black and don't worry about trying to have awesome lighting at this stage. just show something basic.
hope that helps.
oh and this was contracted? you got paid for this?
And the color bleeding from the floor makes the volumes flat.
I would say as Oobersli about that issue...
Consider making a normal turntable.. that one's a bit too special right now.

If you aimed for TF2 you ended up somewhere else.
TF2 takes place somewhere between 1920-1960's Americana not a lot of room for someone from the middle ages. That's not even getting into the proportions or the level of detail.
I think you could have something interesting here, but tying it to TF2 is a bit off the mark...
