Uhh, not hidden away. Heh, I've been using that function pretty much since Paint Effects was introduced uh, a long time ago. It was one of hte first things I looked into after Mental Ray became part of Maya.
Never knew about renderable spline in Max though...Not much of a Max guy.
Is the Mop script still up some where? I'm working on a project that's got a bit of tubes going on and I'd rather do this to speed up some of the work rather than deal with dirty extrudes.
