Character Modeler/Texture Artist
Experience:
• expert knowledge of Maya or 3DStudio Max (Maya preferred)
• expert knowledge of ZBrush 3.1 or higher
• knowledge of Unreal Editor or similar a plus
Expectations:
• Model and texture high detail characters and creatures for next generation console games
• Work closely with art director and lead artist to establish look and quality bar for characters
• Able to provide constructive feedback to outsourcing resources to maintain quality and style.
• Must be able to improvise where character concept art is not available.
• Strong understanding of human and creature anatomy.
Other considerations
• Willing to travel to China for 2 - 3 weeks at a time (would be nice, not necessary)
• Speak Mandarin (would be nice, not necessary)
• Self motivated and self sufficient. (necessary).
