This is my latest project, a high poly model of a McCormick Farmall 300. I modeled it in Max. I have no plans at the moment to make a low poly version or texture it. I am open to comments and critiques. Thanks.
Lovely work dude, this is my kind of stuff
I always thought these sort of tractors with the tiny front wheels so close together look really dinky, like from a Richard Scary book.
Dude, nice work. Brings back memories, I've used one to operate a feed grinder several times.
The only *possible* two crits, is that the front tires actually seem a bit too far spaced apart and the seat actually looks like the "bucket effect" is too steep. It might just be the angle that they render's at tricking my eye, but it still just "feels" off.
A render or at least screen grab of a front view or front 3/4 would make it clear for sure.
Grimm_Wrecking: Good call. I went back and checked the front tires. They were a bit too far apart. I moved them closer together and updated the images at the top.
Lol, well to echo everyone else, this is awesome I love the fact that u chose this as a subject and I didn't look at any reference to compare it to but the execution looks spot on.
Awesome work. The time and dedication sure shine through!
If you dont plan on going in and making a low res version of this, i agree that going in and adding surface detail and adding as much age to it as possible sounds like a sexy option

Tyres look amazing, you've got the tread looking perfect the way it blends into the tyre if you know what I mean.

I didn't realize the steering wheels on those things were so laughably small lol
acapulco: It took me around 80 hours to make.
