I feel like a fool for downloading drivers for my Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA.
Everything was working fine before I downloaded and installed them from Dell's site, but I thought maybe I could get access to 75hz refresh with them (+ it couldn't hurt right?).
It seems that my gradient tones just goes bonkers with them installed. For instance, opening the color palette in PS shows halos across various tones. So I delete EVERYTHING I can find regarding these drivers and uninstall them - and that fixes it. But upon restarting, a fresh new driver install is ready for me at start-up.
Without making this too long, there has to be something left on my system? Dell monitor driver cleaners? This seems like a ridiculous problem.
EDIT
The main file is:
2209WA.ICM
But one other file listed in the driver file list is:
Monitor.sys (Which I'm assuming is a generic file always associated with this?)
