I don't quite like the Idlers and the tracks, also, the Hull looks a bit blocky, I am not aware of what were you aiming for, but its just what pleases the eye and what not
Lookin' good, only major crit is the white and yellow at the tips of the missiles make the piece a little busy, they pop a bit too much. Having one general tone for the missiles might work a bit better. Haven't looked at any real world shots of these things, but from an artistic view just my 2 cents.
Some general thoughts, i think this is looking pretty close to done dude. I think pushing the visuals much further isn't going to do much outside of tweaking lighting and render settings and such. You might want to consider doing a more typical bad ass vehicle such as a tank such as this in the future:
No matter how far you push the visuals, in a lot of ways it just wont be as cool. I guess what i'm trying to say is as someone trying to build your portfolio, you might want to pick stuff that more visually appealing to begin with, and i hate to say that considering how often you see the generic tank type, but that's just the more kick ass piece.
Not saying this isn't a portfolio piece, it's very well done, and it's only going to get better with a bit more work. But in the future you might want to pick subject matter that "looks cooler" to begin with.
Crazyfingers: Thanks for the comments and support this def is no bad ass tank hehe but it is unique in its own way hehe. Next projects are taken atm but I will def do something bad ass with a real tank.
Here is a smallish update on spec map and diffuse its about done now I think.
Just need to get it into the call of duty editor and get some pimp shots of it in a scene.
