It is because you are funny, because you are unintentionally funny, even more so. Don't worry about it, it's good that you get tons of interest, right? More people to buy your stuff.
I think it's because you're being very creative and letting your imagination flow. There doesn't seem to be much direction, and in the field of 3d most things are fine-tuned, and everything has to have reason (specifically with video games.) This is a field of seemingly corporate, not really expressive forms of art. Infact, I'd consider it less a form of art and more a "Would this appeal to the mass and make us millions of dollars?"
Most people aren't used to this type of unique 3D art, and it's definitely interesting. Keep going with it, you're very creative and I'm excited to see what the final outcome will be.
Not to mention that you don't seem to be a native English speaker. It would be kind of like me learning whatever your language would be and posting in the language. There would just be little things that I would never know, but you would probably find amusing. It's just like how video games are localized for each country with different jokes, and different ways of saying things. Other countries just wouldn't get it.
But you're doing better than I am, I can't even speak any other languages.
I love your use of smileys in the weirdest way possible, too
I am funny? If I'm so, I dont mean it ...
It's like double edged self-unaware sarcasm, or something!
Plus yeah some parts of your work actually IS fresh and unexpected.
However your desire to sell everything is kindof a downer. But in a way it adds to the odditiy too.

Fun!
This too! The smiley's definitely add to the awesome.
And hey, we all need money! Dolla dolla bill ya'll.
I've shown that thread to at least 10 non-artists who do not visit polycount and they all think it is hilarious. Even they follow that thread religiously and demand I keep them updated on developments.
I remember finding out that you were 3Dguru, and somehow I wasn't surprised. Your art is the same. I remember giving you crits on a raiden-like cyberninja. It was as if my words were falling on deaf ears. So now I don't bother giving you crits on the anubis emo magicians. I just cheer it on and enjoy it for the lulz.
If you're in 3D for the lulz, or just as a hobbyist, then that's cool. This stuff is epic lulz.
But if you actually want to improve your 3D skills then you need to change your attitude. You need to start a wip thread and make art. Ask for honest crits and try following them.
Also this is a game art site. So maybe try making some video game art. Anubis and magicians is subject matter that would make a much better oil painting imo.
I know you are not a native English speaker, and it might be hard for us to understand you. But somehow I feel like I've gone through what you are going through. Polycount can be a goldmine for getting great crits and improving your skills. People here don't know you from adam, and it can be a really nice change from the crits you get in art class.
Belias, people are loving you because you were funny saying you were selling that piece, and at the same time, we can't understand what you did my friend, it's something so awkward that our imagination can't understand... so, that's why we all love that thread.

Plus, a lot of polycounters can be insensitive jerks. haha.
But really, I like your work, and it shows you have imagination.

I cant honestly say I had ever imagined that anyone would be so random with such rigorous frevor!
No I won't give you any money!!

usually how I feel when I try to make heads or tails of your threads.
In example
"finished the exam , working on a boat under the magicans and a dinousaur under anubis ."
Its for me to say
"Rest Now Tired 3D potato, under machine, Working on more advacados"
Seriously I cant make heads or tails of what your saying or doing. If its a language barrier or something perhaps look up a translator or something?
Your unintentional funnyness is what makes it even more funny .
Stalker... :poly124::poly124::poly124::poly142::poly136:
