the next 5 days are gonna be hell!
i have 2 assignments due till wednesday, this is one of them.
i m going to put Road Runner and Wile E Coyote in some footage i took outside my school.
the meshes are unwrapped, but textures are still flatcolored
Road Runner: 3.138 tris (without turbosmooth)
Wile E Coyote: 4.904 tris (without turbosmooth)
still to do: rig of Wile E, animation, tracking the second shot (yes, there are 2 shots), compositing and making it fancy
Replies

Also, if the coyote maybe spirals toward the roadrunner a bit, like more out of control, it would also make for a more interesting compo, especially when the smoke is added.
anyone know a good smoke/explosion tutorial?
and for the smoke, what program are you using?
if it's max here's a quickie that's good for starters, obviously nothing great comes out of this but it gets the ideas across:

For the future and stuff like this, to get the feel you want to your effects and to have complete creative control over them, it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with particle emitters in general and how they work. I don't know of any good general tutorials but even just playing around with the systems creates a lot of knowledge. I'm aware you're on a deadline, though. Good luck with your project, hope it comes out well.
thx for the link!
