Imagine if James Cameron would have directed Spiderman . What would it be like?
Answer:
James Cameron's script for Spiderman.
I honestly believe that it would have been better.
It's darker , edgier and has electro and sandman as the villains.
Spiderman also kills someone and has sex with Mary Jane.

I'm assuming this is what it was:

But my link also had storyboards for easier viewing.
Also i never said it should be rebooted i just found this version of a Spiderman movie better, plus Cameron wrote the script before the first spiderman movie.
Eh? Comic spiderman has gone waaay past the awkward teenager stage. Sure, he still makes the occasional jokes during fights but life in general is pretty much fucked up for him now.
Now? I would argue that, throughout comic history, there is no character whose life is more shitty than Peter Parker. He's the archetypical lovable loser/fool.
His parents died when he was young.
It's his fault his uncle died.
He squanders his considerable scientific talents to help others.
He can't tell any of his loved ones about his heroic deeds.
How shitty would it be for the one thing in your life that is great and deserving of accolades to have to be done in secret and for all of the people who care about you to only be able to see the times when you are falling behind in school, work, and life. Shit sucks.
Well, he revealed his identity to the world in the Civil War storyline, eliminating that little problem (and completely destroying the character as well.)
When you think about it, the only reason why spiderman spouts out witty jokes during fights is to help himself boost his confidence, you could say it's a coping mechanism that helps him get through his shitty life.
He recently traded his marriage for Aunt May's life. He made a deal with the devil to save his Aunt and everyone's memory of his identity was wiped away. Basically, whenever Marvel has a big movie coming they do what they can to reformulate the comics to better reflect the movies. Change/growth is not encouraged.
