[XSI] UV Editor- it wont select anything?

Normally I don't have any issues with xsi, been using it for a few years now, but I need some help (I tried searching online)

I can't select anything (points, edges, faces, or even edit select all) in the uv editor, I tried starting a new scene. If I select parts of the mesh and then open the uv editor they show up selected until a click off, but it wont let me select more or deselect a few of them.

Make sure your not in cluster selection mode (cls button in the texture editor) as this gives the effect of not being able to do any selections other than clusters.

Make sure you haven't locked another object in the texture editor, the little padlock icon can do this if you accidently clicked it.

Lastly ive had some trouble with the latest ATI drivers and XSI's selection tools, try rolling back a few months if your using an ATI card.

Thanks, I feel stupid now, it was the cls, cluster mode thing.
