Hi guys!
Let's start with a piece that I made as quick as possible (2.1 days actually) originally created to support my candidacy for a position that finally slipped through my fingers
I made a quick concept, with Brian Froud in my mind:
and here are the zbrush shots:

I noticed that the part of the boot goes down in front of the door, how can the door open then? :O Dunno if thats worth looking in to.
Other then that; Awesome work, nice amount of details and original.. Can't wait to see it finished!
Tobii: Thanks, I will take a closer look on the door.
acapulco & Reeke: I agree, it will be also a good occasion to try transpose master
Thanks again for all your feedback!
Something completely different now;
Im working with a friend, skaven, on a kind of pixeljunk shooter clone. We would like to make a level in a week or two.
Here is a rock!

we still have a lot of work, but right now we are pretty happy with our progress:

my next step is to build this test cave, fully prelighted
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7RkkKJyJAY[/ame]
there is no continuous flow and some materials are not fixed so it will be very usefull to finish this for the technical overview (for exemple, I dunno why the x axis is inverted...)
now I try to go as far as possible on this level design (our deadline is sunday night )
what's new?
I had a looooong art test (3weeks) with a good end, but I cant show anything (NDA) and I have to wait until they have some new funds to hire me.
So i have a bit more free time to work on personal stuff:
this is not video game art related, but kind of old school RPG with true pen, paper, and miniatures.
I try to make it as simple and fun as possible, but for now, only in french ;]
and finally a quick test for the card based system (im not sure about the lay out)
Back on 3D stuff with a statue
retopo, lod and baking soon
my actual laptop is too crappy to bake anything, so ill wait for my new motherboard with a new sculpt about anatomy.
c&c are always welcome
of course it is a rude wip
Finishing this dude (started with the last character):
udk screenshots:
also i think it could be a bit better if the smooth/rough areas were a bit more thought out, look a tad random atm....and maybe some drip marks....mmmm drips
AimBiz; thx! (im a big fan of your Luthier )
Nitewalkr; thx!
SHEPEREIO; thx, im not sure Ill make any future changes, but i will clearly think about your advices for future works...
I should post a successfull Art Test in a week, just waiting some news ^^

Since september 2009, I worked with a friend on the visual communication for a small extreme metal festival.
Last week end, it finally took place:
the t-shirt:
Long time no post! (I mean, art related...)
Maybe some of you know that since october I joined the great Fishing Cactus crew here in Belgium...
We are now around 15 plus a few cool kids as interns, working on a lot of differents projects and making epic bbq's...
Sample here, fortunately since 2009 the bbq is 6 times bigger!
Some of the 1st games I worked on are now in e-store:
shift (iphone) (android)
shift2 (iphone)
Trenches : Generals (ipad) (wii)
For those games (and some others) I mainly did assets adaptations plus some concept art, character art, UI, picto, and logo work.
I was afraid to do always the same things, not here!
Now Im mainly working on Creatures4 on a lot of realy exciting stuff that I can't talk about...
That's it for the kind of blog part...
Sketchbook time:
To fill the time traveling in train to the work, I bought a tablet pc (hp tm2t) I do a lot of thing with it. Most of it is unfinished or simply totally unrelated (music?).
Once again, im working on my spare time on the visual communication for the Metal Mean fest (btw, Mean is a belgian town...).
A previous test:
The characters are still made and posed with zbrush.
I should now work on the new t-shirt..
Thats it for now, and of course C&C are still welcome!
The colors and way you drew it is really refreshing
My favorite so far on this page

hi guys,
another small construct2 project: multiplayer pixel art drawing tool.
This is extremely basic but I wanted to test the multiplayer feature and thought it was fun enough to be shared.
