Hello everyone, this is my first proper attempt at modeling something decent
It is meant to be an artic eploration vechcle but the twist is that, its a military vechicle and will have a mounted machine gun up top. Oridginaly it was meant to have a plow on the front but I thought about it and it makes no sense to me to have one there for this vechicle type.
I will be adding a Mounted machine gun, side mirors and lights and a military style radio anthena to the back and other features as I think of them.

I'm going to post some screen shots of the back of it because it has unquie geometry there and also a screen shot of one of the sides
The side view
The back view
I'm thinking of changing the back doors to a single door which will drop down and make it more like an APC in that regard, what do you think ?
Thanks for the critique.
I would suggest getting tons of reference first. This is just looking so underworked at the moment. I like the idea, but you need to get more inspired here. This is just a box with a few extrusions sitting on some cylinders.
This looks like the start of your hi-poly, but it's still so blocky. Figure out what your workflow will be as well.
This is my first proper attempt at modeling anything ever lol . I have to still add details to it. A friend suggested I restart it, I'm going to make the details rounder in shape and rethink the back of the vechicle and the side
but while keeping a simuler shape on the side.
I'm going to look at some photos of humvees and APCs and black water industries grizzly as inspiration and artic exploration vechicles again which this is based on.
In the photos the artic exploration vechicles I'm basing this on are rather blocky looking

I'm basing this one the older blockier looking artic exploration vechicles.
I'm going to restart these too, thanks for the critacisms!

Look at these photos, they are very basic APC's, yet they still have a lot of detail in them. Add things like doors, little spots where things can hang (like in that second picture, those rows of loops along the sides).
It's a good start, but just needs more detail. Don't be afraid to do nuts
