Nex for maya 2010(64bit) viewport blackout issue

hey guys having an issue, just got a new comp using win7 64 bit, and ive been having an issue with maya 2010 and Nex. I have 2010 64 installed fine, and nex as well, but when i use a nex tool, quad draw nex's slection tools whatever the viewport goes black except for what i have selected making it a pain to add to the selection...any thoughts?
