Maya Thumbnails for Windows?

Is there a file option or Maya utility to display Maya scene files (.mb) as thumbnail previews within Windows Explorer? (Using Maya 2009)

I remember someone wrote a MEL script for this ages ago over at CGTalk, but it was for Maya 5 or 6 I think.

edit: I think it was this, but haven't tried it our personally.

Becareful he attached something on the Ctrl +s command...

After　closing Maya and start again I got the following message when using ctrl+s for saving my scene :

// Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "soBrowserSaveMayaScene".

Then be careful if you are not melscripter

And with this script I success to brose my directory but the preview mode doesn't appear

I personally had an auto-back command attached to this hotkey... then byebye haha

looks like it's a browser, so you'd have to save it with this script as sama.van is saying, then it'll register with a thumbnail which it exports using a playblast type thing or something.

So it just tries to overwrite your save function with its own is all.

Fail, why are mel scripters so sneaky. These tools could be so awesome but they end up feeling like duct tape...
