Maya 8.0 64bit ActorX issue

So I recently reinstalled my Maya 8.0 when I upgraded to a 64bit OS and now for some reason I cannot get ActorX to install. I never had an issue using ActorX before for Maya 8.0 32bit, but there is no option for 64bit ActorX for 8.0... 64bit Maya 8.5 ActorX and 7.0 dont work. The error message reads:

// Error: Unable to dynamically load : C:/Program Files/Alias/Maya8.0/bin/plug-ins/ActorXTool.mll

ETC ETC....

Any ideas?

Well I got this to work by installing 32 bit Maya... Seems it has something to do with the 64bit version

I think actorX was universally abandoned a few years ago before a 64bit version was created and now unreal uses .ase files.
