Hello, i'm new to this forum and i'm looking for some feedback on a weapon i'm making, a sniper for the russian special forces, the SV-98.
It's for a HL2 mod call Phoenix Rising.
I'm not a pro, i m doing it over my free time, and i failed my infography studies twice

But the developer from the mod only said that "the body is weird"

I kind of "invented" the scope because the one on this picture look likes
a night scope or something.
Model looks ok. Lotta tri's though, you're gonna have to build the highpoly from scratch again. If you wanna do one, that is.
But i dont really know why to make a hi-poly model? to render a normal map? I though a mesh - smooth would suffice?
