HL2 was full of dispensable bad guys and got to the very predicable point with how to take care of them. If you've never played Mass Effect, it's like an RPG shooter. And, you don't have to shoot to win if you make a strong magic/tech-based character.
i kinda liked the galaxy map quests in ME1, even though they were often a bit weak, i even liked the hard to steer vehicle, it felt like real earth tech it was so retro... i may just be a bit daft though!
Mafia 2 is what i look forward to most in 2010... and whatever VALVe puts out.
If M2 is going to be delayed, that means more polish maybe, which is good, maybe they will fix the issues that annoyed me the most in gameplay vids (somewhat dodgy animation/no IK etc).
Bayonetta & Darksiders, fo sho. ME2 looks cool and ill surely play it, but no where near as excited for Bayonetta & Darksiders - visually. cant.fucking.wait.

yeah, I still have memories of previews for ME1, the way they showed it off made me think there were going to be hundreds of planets to explore.

After playing the Dantes Inferno demo thats on the top of the list.
So Mass Effect 2, MAG, Dantes Inferno, Bioshock 2, and i'm sure i'm missing something.
