Lotr, emmersion, stories and roleplaying.
Greetings all, it's 1 in the morning and I just can't get to sleep. I was just thinking about (Nerd incoming) emmersion and role playing. I started watching the LOTR box set again and it made me want to start role playing and 'loose myself' in some epic story.
I remember once, years ago, I was in a chat room and, in a gaming room, I just so happened to meet a serious role player and we spent abit of time roleplaying. You know, thinking back to it he wasn't some guy who had a name like 'darklink123', 'legolas95' or 'wizard942' and couldn't speak properly.
So, thinking back to that I wanted to find fellow 'geeks' (I hate that word -.-)
but it's the only word to describe us fantasy/sci fi gamers and such. (Unless somone can find a better word)
Does anyone know of any SERIOUS chat rooms for good ol' rp'ing?
- Or even forums, but chat rooms preferably -
