Maya 2010 insert edge loop bug.

When I use the insert edge loop tool it no longer slides around in real time. Anyone else have this bug it's quite annoying. I'm using a certified quadro card.

Maybe your snapping settings are somehow set up so it always snaps 100% to the halfway point?
Or do you mean once you've clicked somewhere, it stays at that point and never moves?

Once I've clicked it never refreshes but I can move the mouse and have it appear where I want it when I exit the tool, just can't see where it's going to go.

I am having the same problem. I have been using Maya for years and I have never encountered this. Strange.

this usually happens to me when working with half a million polys or so.

I just discovered a solution after searching the web. My solution to this problem is to make all the cameras in the scene into a display layer and hide it so that it does not unhide even if I run show all command.
