Switching from max to maya

Hey all I'm in a pickle. I've used max for the past couple of years and am trying to learn maya for a possible internship, Can anyone give me any advice or recommend any good tutorials for making the transition a little less painful. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me:)

I don't know any tutorials off the top of my head, but I'd be glad to help. I come from 2 years of Maya experience and did my in-house contract job in Max while taking a class on Max at the same time.

Talk about a hell of a crash course with Max!

I focus on modeling and texturing, so if you have any questions relating to that I can do my best. The best way to learn is to really just get your hands dirty. Assign yourself a project and just Google the hell out of everything and you'll learn as you go.

After that first painful project you should be fine. It's all about getting over the UI differences because the theories behind working are the same across all software.
