and here's an ink I was playing with. Hadn't touched inks in years. Might color it.
That one is quite interesting, but you should not go on with that one in order to not get suspected of ideastealing.
Here is what I mean: Trapped by Daniel Lieske
Aside from that I like your drawings, you have a good skill!

I knew someone would catch that reference with all the press Lieske was getting!
Yes, it was definitely in my head when I drew it, but I hadn't seen the image for about a year and the art style that I was actually trying to copy was from a comic book I'd seen the other day.
I have to admit, as far as ideatheft is concerned, my feelings mirror this:
and admittedly authenticity is tough for any artist.
conte: Yea, I participated on cgchat a lot more before I started posting here regularly. I did a lot of those comps, but pretty much sucked at them all. Never made the switch to GA...
Hey, great work in here! I was wondering what type of pencil and paper are you using in your works? I use HB pencil and it smudges pretty bad. Could be the paper... or it could be the way I hold my pencil. Thanks in advance!
hi kot, I use a mechanical pencil most of the time with B lead. I use either a moleskin sketchbook, or bristol paper. I smudge lines a lot more if I'm not careful of how I place my hand on the page. Also how sweaty my hand is.
Have you tried SmudgeGuard? It works wonderfully on a tablet if you hands get sweaty. I think I'm going to go for that in my pencil and paper work too since, like you said, if you're not careful there will be smudging either way. Thanks for the reply!

got bored with this one. Might pick it up again later.
This one started out as an epic idea in my head, but got kinda boring as I made it.

And yes, of course everything we do is stolen, if not from another artist we steal from nature itself..

Do you generally work in a mole-skin-esque book, around that size? ( from what I gather it has around 9 x 14 cm pages?)
Thanks guys for the comments
major D, it really varies from big sheets to smaller ones.
I honestly think the digital stuff is your weakest by far but it's still sick. Just feels sorta overworked.
You're right on my digital work. It's harder so I'm forcing it, and the best work is always effortless!
