New polycounter + some WIP work

Hey, I'm new here - so I hope you all aren't too critical (constructive, not destructive!).

Everything done with 3ds Max + Photoshop. Feel free to ask for wireframes/texture samples. I should note I'm not much of a render specialist - everything is rendered with default scanline render with 1-3 lights.

    I love it.

With just a little work on the rendering, you would have a top-notch presentation and a kickass portfolio.

Feel free to share some more stuff!

Some pretty cool stylized assets. I really like the flying boat.

    Couple logical problems:

1.) The boat looks like she's goin' down! The balloon is much too small for that thing.

2.) The windmill makes no sense. Perhaps think about changing it to a watermill if it's that incased within the structures, or raise it up so it can catch some wind!

Some cool stuff though. I really like how the wall piece looks like it has no seams.

SasoChicken – Yes, they are for an independent game project called Jeklynn Heights – check out http://www.vexstudios.com/ for more information.
Achillesian – All low poly, highest up there is around 25k triangles, the rest being anywhere from 0-8k triangles (large structures).
    Luke – Yup. J
Cycloverid – Ugh, yeah I know there’s problems with the balloons, I spent most of the time trying to get the ‘physics’ right on it. Hopefully the acceleration from the back end will hide the fact it’s not weight balanced. As for the windmill, you’re right – it doesn’t make sense. J. However, I had this neat idea that in real-time the light rays and shadows being casted from a rotating windmill with a lightsource from behind (interior light source) will prove to have a cool effect.

Small update of the wall set.
