zbrush matcap question

Just a quick question. Can other machines see a matcap that they don't have installed on their system so long as I Fill the subtools with that matcap and then save it that way? (using subtool master)

Why don´t you just test it out? Place something inside Zbrush apply a matcab, save,close ZBrush and move the matcab out off your zbrush folder.Open Zbrush again an fire up what you saved.If the MatCap is still there i would say yes.

No, I don't think so. I've never tried though - give what SpeCter says a shot. I have a feeling it'll just revert to the Red Wax or the Gray matcap though.

No, they can't. It reverts the material to the default wax I believe.
