Irish Farm house Kitchen - My first ever enviroment build

This Build is My first ever enviroment.
Its called "Irish Farm house kitchen"
I grew up around farmhouse cottage kitchens and I quite like them.
they have inspired my first ever enviroment build.

At the moment I'm making all the assets like furniture and fixtures and also things like pots and pans ect.
I'll be posting pictures of the actual room itself soon so stay tuned.

Rather than work on individual elements one at a time try adjusting your approach slightly and block out the scene before doing too much else.. it helps get a sense of scale, position etc.. and avoids the 'white sheet of paper' syndrome when staring at the empty (box) scene.

PS don't be scared to press "P" to view in perspective mode as you've done in the first shot, helps you assess the objects better when in that mode.

Thank you for your critacisms, I'll keep them In mind.
Are you refering to having a blank canvas so to speak, when you say white sheet of paper syndrome ?

I used to have problems with whiteboxing, but i think it's a pretty essential starting point to get your basic layout and measurements correct before starting on the specifics.

I think I will start using google sketch up to get a rough estimation of scale and then I will make the thing In blender.

A holy water font to go by the door... I still need to scale all the parts a bit.
