yeah, not to bad here, a little rain and decent temp, not too shabby. Heard toronto got hit tho, sucks because thats where i'm headed for the rest of the week/weekend
Ours had turned to slush by the time I started my drive for work. There's nothing stuck in the grass, mostly just on top of tables/cars. Windy as shit though.
Green Bay is completely buried We're all kinda waiting for plows to come through though since snow days don't seem push back friday builds. I refuse to see if they've already plowed my street, but it sucks even more that my shovel for my driveway is MIA.

In Leominster, MA was a pain, full of snow. On my way to work this morning my car was refusing to stop and I almost crashed. Sort of surprised this happened this last year I drove fine in a few snow storms, So I decided to go home and call out. It's supposed to rain now so this is going to be awesome.
Just a bit south of Minneapolis, had 4 feet up against my garage door when I opened it. Pulled the car in as far as I could in the garage, and floored it in reverse and broke through it into the street. I love driving in the snow.

back in 99, my brothers and I were driving from Waseca to Owatonna for work (Viracon glass) and there was about 2.5-3ft of snow on highway 14 the entire way there - they called off the plows it was so bad. We drove through it in a 2dr sedan. haha. At 4:30am, half-asleep, sliding and drifting all over the place - that was interesting.
Mmm, yeah. I drove home from Southern California to see family in western WA for the holidays last year. I think it took us 4 hours just to get through Portland, but it was oddly pretty fun and exciting. That was some crazy snow.
It snowed here in MD last night and then we got sleet and freezing rain. By the morning it was just rain, got a few inches of snow over the weekend though. I wouldn't mind a couple of feet at some point, provided work gets cancelled.
Ahhh driveways done and shoveled. Thanks to the wifey and my 4 year old for the huge help. Had a little snowball fight as well. That was good fun...Now back inside where it is warm.

Aw, that be so much fun. Its always the traffic that kills it here, but at least at that time it would be dead. I was driving on highway 3 today from Northfield, around 10 am when not many are out there. Just plowing through drifts in my boat of a oldsmobile 88.
Ugh, I just shoveled the driveway and my body is not pleased.
I forgot to tell the story of my morning. I woke up at 6am to take my MIL to the airport because they kept claiming her flight would be going out. Pffftttt... Anyway, I wake up and of course it just got cancelled, so I take my pups out for a quick walk. After getting inside the front door with them, some giant furry creature that I thought was a fuckin bear entered behind me. It turned out to be a cuddly st. bernard without any hot cocoa around its neck, and it wanted to play. Took that beast out and back down the street to its home.
Here in Platteville we got 14 inches, so the Governor closed down the campus. It really isn't that much snow for WI....
E: My hometown, waupaca, got twelve, and my parents said it is still coming down, can't wait for some snowmobiling and taking my old s-10 out for some drifting!
So now the best part of today is, it's freaking raining! Yup, snow not so bad, but when this shit happens it blows!!! Now the roads will be extra fun tomorrow and the snow will be ice and slush.

good thing it wasn't a bear but a friendly dog, a friendly giant dog.
You can have it.. I don't want it
While I didn't get much today, I suspect I'll have some shortly. The Great Lakes surround me and most of this is gaining new strength from the lakes
Waiting for the snow here in the Faroe Islands.. we had a brief moment of snow some days ago - but now its all rain and stuff... *shakes fist at global warming and the changing of the golf stream*
We used to get snow from first in November and well into the next year.. sometimes we even had snow on first of june (that has happened a few times in my lifetime)...
Now we barely get any snow at all
I live in Cedar Rapids (not far from Iowa City for all you that don't live in Iowa) and had to work this morning. -26f with wind chill! Freaking cold. -6 not counting windchill. Unfortunently I work for a tv news station so I don't get the luxury of having snow days
No snow day today. They did a pretty crap job at clearing the roads. I don't even think they got to North Liberty yet. I had a 4 foot drift blocking one of my road's entrances.

I hope we get dumped on like we did last year.
...and then we get a week of slush and mud everywhere . Having a good few months with snow on the ground is something I miss.

This weekend we're suppose to get 40cm of that white powdery goodness

everything closed but the bars.
BRRR MAN, BRR. It's as cold as Jesse Moody's heart up in this bitch!
With another 15-20cm expected by the end of day. Guess winter isn't taking it's time this year.
