Here are some screenshots and a trailer of the Iphone game I was working on in the last couple of mounths.
Beside me there was another 3D artist and one programmer for the whole game. We used the Iphone version of the unity engine.

Here are some tank units. We used De Espona high poly models for texture baking.

I know you may not be looking for crits and I understand it is a bit late, but you could cut the tris down significantly for each tank with no loss of silhouette and maybe be able to eek some more performance out of the game.

After watching your video it seems like that it runs great as is, so ignore me!

Will a demo be available? May need to talk my bud into grabbing it if so.

Yes I know, I made tanks with less polycount before (for a DS title which was canceled). And there are some negativ comments in the App Store about performance with the old iPhone and iPod Touch. But our programmer told us that these performance problems are a result of the heavy use of scripting in the unity engine and its not a problem of the 3D graphics.

As far as I know, there are no plans for a demo version of the game. But I will ask.

Agree with Husch though. Your polygonal distribution isnt very effective. Those cylinders are freaking heavy!!
