Cool idea. Give his belt some pill shaped capsules to repeat the shapes you've already got going on and it'll punch this piece up another notch. Keep going.

anatomically, his front does not look like a front of a person. It looks more like a persons back.

I tend to look at his gears more than at the whole character, perhaps add details like jumpsuit vinyls on him so that the rest of the character pops out more.

WIP hirez : there's some overlap happening with the straps and the uniform. The bracelets are too big and the folds in the uniform are a bit half assed.

looks good so far. i agree about the front looking like a back though. what makes it look like that is the armpit. where it intersects with the body is too far forward, and is folding like a back usually would. i mean it looks alright assuming he's got a shitton of padding or something, just something to consider trying, see if you like it better with the armpits pulled toward the back more
