Wanted to drop a happy bomb on all you turkey eating pcounters out there in the states. Get your grub on!
I'm alone this year, but I celebrated with friends this past Saturday which was great fun. Today I'm making a single turkey breast, bacon brussel sprouts, fresh cranberries, fresh spinach & garlic, mashed red herbed taters and sweet potato pie!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Whats worse is that still no one will let me eat a pizza on Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
But its not as widely spread as in the us sadly ,stuffing yourself is fun
well edited posts make mine seem senseless so heres a kitty to spice it up!!
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Indeed. I can't stand candied "yams" as they're called. Sweet potatoes are SWEET damnit - you don't need to add shit loads of sugar! My sweet potato pie has 1/4cup of sugar in it, that's plenty sweet! I prefer my sweet potatoes like regular potatoes - mashed with a touch of milk, butter, salt & pepper. Way better for you than regular mashed russet taters and tastier!

Guess I could have said Americans, not America
I'm literally cooking this right now, whilst nibbling on pumpkin bread courtesy of the wife. I'd better wait until later to start on the beers, though, or I'll be asleep by 8pm....
Haha totally! Although I wouldn't mind turkey again... Christmas is coming soon!
yes. they did. Once.
I really had forgotten about it till I got a text from a friend. They don't even sell turkeys here. And I don't think I've seen turkey meat either, if I did it was Hormel Turkey Spam.
