Just curious if anyone knows some good grid settings for Max to coincide with Unity. Also, if anyone has some links to some useful Unity tutorials that would be much appreciated as well.
I just know about Ogre 3D, but there it doesn´t matter which gridsize you use. 1 inch in max would be 1 unit in Ogre and the same goes for everything a grid in meters would give you the same result in Ogre, but as i said, it could just be a Ogre(-Exporter) specific thing.
I did as you said Vig with some interesting results.. or maybe i just did it wrong. lol.
The block on the far left is 10 Max units and on the far right is 1 Max units with the default Unity grid in the background. Kind of odd if you ask me..
I think thats a good assumption. The editor comes with a base player model, which is really just an elongated spear, and it is 2 units which would make 6foot. Makes sense I suppose.

Maybe doing a test, export something that's 1x1x1 in max and see what it measures to in Unity? I would not be surprised if its 1:1 also.
