just cause you like more cushion for the pushin jason, doesnt mean everyone does. its all opinion based. same with artwork on this site. different people will see the same pic differently. some think its perfect, some think they need to change something, but really, in the end, it all depends on the person who made it (unless it was for work).
I dont think it is attractive to the majority of the populus. Its just the fashion industry, has gone inwardly crazy. They do what they want and what they think people want and people accept it because its all they are giving so they think thats what everyone wants.
Fire the photo editors, IMO. Unless this is like... a rebellion. Making an inverse statement. Actually, yeah, fire whoever accepts these to be published. Wtf. Except not, because getting fired sucks. But at least look at them disapprovingly, and shake your head.
I think advertisements like these should have a mandatory url printed to their original/unfinished image components or at least a disclaimer that the ads aren't real images. There are disclaimers for car ads (warning: cannot drive in a volcano) as well as "screen image simulated" disclaimer for phones and stuff... Why not a "a complete/impossibly awful butchering of human anatomy" disclaimer so impressionable youngsters don't think these images are somehow real.
Being rather detail oriented people it's easy for us to say "What the hell is that?" the moment we spot these sort of things but, the rest of the population accepts these images as reality which isn't healthy (especially from the being young/female standpoint.) And it doesn't take long to become permanently damaged by having unrealistic/impossible expectations of what you're "supposed" to look like.
A women that is 5'8" and only weighs 120 pounds. Yeah I would say she kept a tight diet. Pricks! She looks so good normal. Raulph Lauren blows, I bet she pissed off someone and got canned or got too old, I mean after eight years she is a relic.
Hell my ex that is about 5'4" weighed more, around 125. If this model was any thinner she would break.

Her proportions are all off.
Was there a law being passed in the EU about having disclaimers put on advertisements that have been digitally altered?

Oops...My soap box broke.
are we going to keep going on about body image or whatever or are we just going to jeer at bad artists making more money than us?
