Hi! I'm getting started on modeling a rustic gypsy wagon from this reference image.
Started blocking out the shapes before I bring it into highpoly.
I'll post a highpoly version before Saturday. (As a note, this isn't the final lowpoly model.) Any kind of advice, tips, or critique for any stage of the process is appreciated!
Thanks,
Tina

Buuut, that's just my opinion.
At the moment, your gypsy wagon is pretty boring - flesh it out and give it character!
BHJ- That's a great image! Even something like the drapery adds so much. I'd like to try and incorporate some of the simple assets on the side too when I get the chance.
I made the highpoly shortly after but unfortunately didn't get the chance to post til now. Will work on updating this thread properly! Here are the renders of my highpoly.
Thanks again
Lowpoly with normal maps applied. I still need to add the wooden planks and other noise into the normal map. Soon!
You mean the side wall of my model isn't flat? I was hoping that it might look (slightly, ha ha) more interesting that way. Do you think it looks odd?
