I'm here to invite 2D and 3D artists to join the closed beta of a new marketplace service. We need people interested not only in testing, but suggesting and helping improve the service. Please, contact me for more information.
Guys, i can't provide too much public information. That's what a closed beta means. Anyone that has interest in buying/selling 3D models or 2D media, contact me by PM.
I'm not talking about a game. I'm looking for freelance artists interested in testing a new kind of media marketplace where they can sell their media. Anyone interested, please contact me.
Cojax - I removed your reply so I can reply to JacoB directly, hopefully you don't mind.
JacoB - Why don't you do the professional thing and offer this information publicly so that the professionals at this community can take you more seriously? You may find that you get a more serious response. It's pretty unprofessional to show up at a community such as this, ask for help, and be completely vague on the details.
What's the service? And how is it related to 2D & 3D artists? From what I can tell you're looking for people to test out another Turbosquid. If this is the case, let me know now so I can Close this thread as spam.
I'm not allowed to provide such information publicly. I'm only allowed to discuss the service and give more details to individuals, therefore, interested people should contact me directly through private messages.
I'm looking for artists interested in telling me what they are looking for in a media marketplace service. They will test the service and report what's good, what's not, what should be better, etc. Some sort of survey. The service is similar to Turbosquid, but entirely different in structure and specially in the way to treat customers, both buyers and sellers.
Once the product is out of beta, i'll be glad to discuss and present the product with all members of polycount. But right now, i'll be putting my job at risk by disclosing information publicly. I'm not trying to spam, i'm just looking for a few artists interested in contributing for a service that might be useful for the community in a near future.
Personally i'm not interested in this kind of stuff, however good luck finding people. I do think a tiny bit more information initially would have stopped all the negative feedback in this thread.
Alright, whats the deal here guys? I think we've had enough trolling. I think most of us should be able to understand and respect what is essentially a matter of NDA here. I dont see how this guy is out of line here, so going on and on with the same lame joke is getting old.

Fair enough I hope you find the help you're looking for!
From the little bit I read this sounds EXACTLY like they were doing
developing a market place within there 3d game engine that non artsy designers could buy packages of 3D of and use to make there indie games and it was a way for artists to sell assets and earn a small profit of each model that is sold etc.
If this isnt the same company this sounds very similar to the place I worked at before
