UT3 and UDK

I'm a bit confused. What is the difference between the two? I am currently learning UT3 but should I download and use UDK? Is it better than the UT3 engine? Thank you!

It's way better. It's the updated UT3 version on steriods. SSAO, Lightmass, New content browser. New features overall and added stability and awesomeness.
