Maybe this is the overly complicated way to go about this, but maybe not.
I am thinking about using this wallpaper as a base for a more detailed scene that I would later import it into UE3 for the lighting.
Suppose I wanted to set this wallpaper up in Max in a way that I could accurately get the scale and angles down.
Looking at the perspective lines, I see this:
Can any of you offer tips on how I might do this? Ultimately I'd like to be able to block it out quickly by viewing this in an orthographic viewport of some kind, and then just drag out what's needed to quickly match the picture. Or is this not a good approach? Thanks in advance.

So yeah just do that and lock your cam...?
i did this testin it out a while back, i would never do a building based on a concept without it again, just watch out sometimes.. most almost every times concept artists are not 100% correct with perspective. which is cool thats not the main goal of their work
I'm having some issues importing it now though. I try and import the .dae and it gives me this error:
While reading or writing a file the following notifications have been raised.
-ERROR: Library not found: #ID2
-ERROR: Unable to parse xml/dae file
An .obj version reads something about a vertex index error.
