Just wondering if there is a way to lock the pivot point of a selection of uv's in the texture window. You can do this for geo by entering pivot point mode on a component and clicking the blue eyeball. Is this possible in the uv editor?

Unfortunately, I don't think so (unless it's new).

since a component selection can always be different, i think it would create too many problems. i thought maybe if there was something with sets, but it doesn't look like that works either.

what's frustrating about this in component mode is that if you move your pivot while in the move tool, then switch to say the rotate tool, the manipulator will move back to center instead of staying put where the move tool was. even after switching back to the move tool, it still stays center, even after you JUST moved the pivot. sucks. i see the frustration.

Firebert, in 3d select your components, then hold down d to enter pivot point mode then click the blue eyeball, this will lock the pivot point of the components. Does not work for uv's though, lame.
