Mudbox has a brand new forum so artists can now post all their questions and answers on this site along with their latest’s creations and work in progress pieces.
Come on in and be one of the first to join - post up your work - and join a community that shares the same interest in a state of the art digital sculpting and texturing tool, Mudbox.
i personally try to stay away from any software centric forums since they tend to become a bit carried away with the tool rather than the art itself. that is the reason i havent been using AREA that often.
couple things that bother me:
-the name of the forums is a copy of zbrushcentral - not really appealing.
-i see artists works posted by people who are not the author and i dont know if u got the permission to post their work.
Hi, thanks for all your feedback, very interesting reading :poly124:
The mudboxcentral forum is a place to show off new creations, the site is not trying to sell you anything, its just place where users of Mudbox can show off their latest creations and talk to like minded people.
We are all huge fans of Polycount and dare I say it gameartisans and we would really value any useful information on how to make the site better from thread ideas to competition ideas and so on.
