as some of you know i replaced my whole working station, because i killed it while trying to fix an issue with the chipsed heat sink,
im having an onboard graphics solution because i wanted to wait for the geforcegtx 300 series, but that might take till march, so i think ive gotta buy one now, since udk isnt really working with my ati 3300hd chip (low fps -> no fun)
so is tehre a cheap solution to handle unreal engine 3 and stuff in fullhd (medium graphics quality would be fine too, as long as the resolution fits, new moitor is native 1080p)till march

The Radeon 4850 should be sufficient and fairly cheap these days.
About the keyboard; I have one.
newegg has some 9800s for near/less than $100 actually(only one 8800 which is $100)
The ATI range are doing pretty well at the moment, as Flaringo says, the 4850 is not that expensive and very good.
and
gtx 275 about 190(they seem not to have any of them anymore)-300
and 285 doubles again,
is a 260 also good to go?

i saw this one is cheaper than the others and is overcllocked

and the 4850 is really cheaper, now i really dont know what to choose
No complaints other than that dx 10 issue, I don't think the 295 is worth it, would've bought 285s but there weren't any available from the manufacturers I was looking at and the 275s were cheaper anyway. I think it really boils down to how much you want to spend, you can get a great card like EQ and neox did for a small amount of money. If you're really interested in the 300 series why not get a 8800 or 9800 for the interim until what you really want is released?
I'm not sure how the 260 compares to a 8800/9800 however, i would assume its pretty close? But what is the price difference there?
Rather get the 260 core 216 - it's the same as the 260 except higher clocks, more cores - 216, as apposed to the 196 of the standard one. And 2ndly because it is actually cheaper than the standard 260.
It follows the same path as the 8800gt vs 8800gts of a couple years ago.
275 here as well btw - awesome card. personally have the msi twin frozr OC edition.

has a nice overview on all chips and cards the interesting values are texel-fillrate, gflops and tdp.

indeed, that's another thing to consider, along with cooling and noise (fan) issues. i went with 9800 GT as well recently, still holding out for a card generation that will give at least a performance comparable to it's predecessor while reducing power draw, physical size and heat output.
it was 99,99€(at a local store, i had to buy it there, because im always nagging the guy there)
