UDK Unreal Tournament 3: Update?

I dont know if I should ask in the UDK thread. If so sorry and delete this. Since it sounds like a minor conversion to upgrade the lighting in the UT3 files to the UDK dynamics. Do you think or know if Epic will release an update doing this? I realize this means quite a large download since wouldn't it need to have all the levels recompiled?
