Hello, this is the last work I've done, wanted to learn a little bit hand painting texture and lowpoly.
Everything are screenshots from the maya persp window
Character: 705 tris. Weapons: 100 tris./ Texture: 512x512
Additional weapons: respectively lance:99, shield:84, one hand sword:94 and two hand sword: 100 tris / Texture: 256x512
It could probably fit in an hack'n slash (looks like the specs of torchlight mobs) or Str, tactical rpg, portable type of games.
with the texture reduced per 256x256 it looks quite decent as well, but i like to work with bigger texture.

Mazvix: I don't really understand what you mean in the first twos sentences :x.
Otherwise for the feet, They are weaker looking than the rest yeah.
But about the proportions it's voluntary, it by no means intended to be realistic balance wise and all (huge sword hu) , I had more Odin Sphere/ medievil looking stuff in mind.
everything else is perfect!
http://ui21.gamespot.com/1428/odinsphere10_2.jpg <--- god so small feet, it should be like blizzard ! how dare they have different proportions (it was one of my reference)
The javelin is my favorite... reminds me of a character from Joust :P
Especially because your works and tutorials helped me in the process aha.
Since the beginning I wanted some colorful textures, I'm kind of fed up with the Grey/brown/desaturated look.
Love the textures! Great work!
really cool stuff man, painted textures look really cool, the enviro looks great as well... especially love all his different weapons.
Great work man ^^

Really it would be solved by using a harder edged brush, and higher opacity, and less smudge or smooth brush. Look at John Singer Sargent's work, it's not in the same style, but it shows what I mean about laying down opaque brush strokes next to each other.
I think that's really the only thing holding back your stuff. Your color palette and design is working fine.
thanks for the crit !
