I am doing a couple of tanks for a teeny weeny game we, here in the company I work in, are making for unity, trying to earn some money through games instead of archviz. Archviz obviously being the very armpit residue of satan.
Here is the Panzer III inside unity, albeit with shadows disabled for some ungodly reason.
A sherman is also in the works, but its texture is in the works. So put down you pitchforks and arm yourselves with patience my dear readers.
Oh and, I am obviously new here, so greetings and salutations to you all!

does the sherman not have any hard edges around the body? Almost looks too rounded.
Sherman has 5826 tris, and the panzer III has 6484
As for it being too rounded, I guess that is a question of taste as there has been countless variations of it, but I personally like round vs hard edges. But your critique is taken into consideration
This run on the texture looks a great deal better, with the nice little details. Also like the new bits you added to the geometry.
hope you update the sherman soon.

@Nick Carver: We are playtesting a bit now, and they bouncy as they drive around, very toonishly..
Actually I think it looks better with normal maps instead of paralax, will show you the difference tomorrow, bedtime now..
Look this one
Will it be one tank per player , or someone in the turret/someone driving?
So inside the boundaries of toon, we take the fun bits from the real world, and replace what is not fun.
Can't wait to try it, sounds ace. Much rather have a fun arcady game than super realistic.
Trying to remember what the game was, it was more sci-fi tanks - but was a similar multiplayer tankfest thing circa 2001/2002 - you had pick-ups to change your turret weapons , usually one hit wonder things - a mass-driver, a huge missile etc.
Really looking forward to seeing some of the environments for this - can imagine the buildings with TF2 shaded , painterly style textures.
Please tell me you're gonna add destructible scenery too.
Remember, we are only four people on this project, so fully destructible houses and such takes alot more vert pulling. We have the technology, but sadly not the time as things are now.
Maybe if the skies start pissing money one way or another, my boss might hire some more peeps for this :P.
pissing money i like that...
