http://www.artbyjustin.com/For pimping and critiques. Does the javascript gallery make your butt suck eggs or is it nice like a kitten?
I still need to tweak the gallery script thingy, I want each image to only show the related thumbnails in it's thumbstrip but it's combining them all into one huge thumbstrip.
Just for Rick, the page is laid out with tables but the gallery uses CSS :lulz:
(I've got the beginnings of a css page started but I just decided to throw this together in the interim)
I used
Highslide JS for the gallery

I really just wanted to pop in and say what's up from another Fairfaxer!

I'm going to refrain from a kp buttsex joke to keep this from turning into one of those threads. Keep things classy, that's what I always say.
thanks for the support guys :-)
Anyway, I really like your site on my desktop with my big-ass monitor, but when I viewed it on my craptop which is limited to 1024x768 it was very cramped and I had to scroll side to side to see everything. I doubt many people in the 3d industry use 1024x768 anymore, but thats just my 2 cents. That aside, the work you are showing is really nice and the site is extremely easy to navigate. good work man!

The gallery loads quick and has a nice size/res to it.
You might want to come up with a max size and then pad out the odd sized images so they're all the same size. It would help keep the thumbnails and the next/back buttons in one spot. It kind of sucks when it resizes and I have to go hunting for the buttons again...

cool stuff
The images hang off the bottom of the screen for me (1680x1050). I'm not sure if you could or would want to shuffle the contact info around to fit the images on the whole screen?
Great work, Justin!
