Hey all,
I'm having an issue baking normals of some floating geometry.
Here is a ss. As you can see, only a faint outline of the geo is rendered. I've tried adjusting the shape of the geo... scaling it back, rounding out any close to 90 degree angles, adjusting the cage, rotating. But still no luck.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

its hard to see, but those are actually within the cage. I have tried flattening them down and adjusting the cage but with no better results.
are you sure the normals of the floating stuff are correct?

good call, all the normals on the floating geo are backwards.. I flipped one upside down and it rendered out
I wish I had of thought of that sooner... Thanks for everyone's input.
