Hey everyone
I'm having this odd extruding problem in max 2010. Basically what I'm trying to do is take a cube (that has an edge wrapping around the center), take the top half, and extrude them out. All of them connected still and still centered. None of the "extruding types" seem to do what I want. Local Poly is the closest thing but that sort of curves the edges.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I don't know why it is doing this. I think it may be some new thing in 2010 but I'm not sure. All I know is that I have never had this problem.

I'm pretty sure Max has always done this with this kind of geometry.
