Like 2 years ago I had the chance to do some work on Borderlands. It wasn't a ton but I got to do one of the guns and it was pretty fun.
So since it's out now. Here she is. I did do the lowpoly and textures on this baby but that was back when it had the realistic take and it looks much different in game now.
Just wondering if this revolver is modular, cause from what Ive heard all the weapons in the game are generated randomly. Nevertheless super nice work there.
pretty damn slick man... nice stuff! and yes... nice render... the material reminds me of the outfit that monica bellucci wore in the matrix reloaded.... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Yeah like that.
And I#ve git a question:
What about making a poll who in this forum has a job that has something in common with cg. I see more and more work for games here.

Yep this was modular. All the pieces had to be able to work with the other revolvers which made some things a little difficult at times but it's super cool once it's all done and you can swap pieces out.
Thanks guys. I looked for the old textures but this works been transfered from at least 5 different hard drives through back ups, portfolio reboots, hard drive crashes, etc that I have no idea where they might be.
These were done like 2 years ago so looking at them now I see lots of issues myself but this was perhaps one of my first legit high poly models for a game that I did when I began contracting.
While playing Borderlands tonight I finally found this bad boy. Well parts of it here and there. One of them I can't use yet because I'm not a level 22 yet.

2 - Nice render. Sexy!
STAT
I think I actually prefer the shot one without the blade lol.
The game was super realistic, then they took a drastic art style changes I think because Fallout came out, which was a similar style game.
Great model, good job!
well done though
Wait are those lego blocks holding the scope on?
I'd also love to see the old lowpoly+textures if you're allowed to show them.
Exactly, couldn't agree more! Like the tessellated stuff would be any useful to people!
It's pretty good, nothing wrong to point out really!
