Drawing tutorials.

Hey guys!

I wanna give a shot at concept art/drawing, so i can see where things are going, and so i can make up some ideas. The problem is i dont know where to start. Some guy in my class (doing 3D stuff as a hobby atm) said i needed to learn shapes,shadings and perspectives.

PSG Art tutorial by Arne Niklas Jansson is a good place to start.

But the best instruction is simply to get a sketchpad and a pencil and start drawing. Draw the things around you, and draw as much as you can, every day.

Thanks for the link, alltough its pretty advanced stuff i think? Whats the best tool to learn? A drawing pad (got a Wacom Intuos 3 widescreen tablet), or pen and paper?

Since it is a bit different to draw on a tablet, I'd recommend using it whenever you can and draw with pen and paper for the rest of your time :poly121: ...sleep is for rookies...
