Peris: I agree, specifically the version from the start of back to the future 2 with the mr fusion home energy reactor and the nice flying capabilities.
Also, can we have this prop in fully working mode as shown in the movie?
back when i could be scared, this scene had me in shitless awe.
and to you who say its all CG, they actually made a robotic prop for this scene, which had to be constantly dried off, because of the rain soaking the electronics.
spinks there was a full one (not in the running scene obviously, but car interaction). in one of the making ofs they mentioned issues with it getting all soaked under the rain and it started to jitter.
deja: as far as i know, they only made the head and neck fullsize, but if im wrong that would be awesome. got pics?
these are the pics i took from the "making of" documentary.
seems like they built it to about partways to the tail, with the tip cut off.
its a really great documentary, and definitely worth seeing.

an alien, predator, and any of the star wars models. Like say the AT AT. Babba Fet's armor would be great! The bat mobile in the first batman movie, with Jack jack Nicholson

The one in the movie has the Swingline logo on the side. Right now I can't see that site, so I am gonna assume it's the same one as all the other 747 Series that I saw when I google searched.
(Paramount, 2007) Standing exactly 16 feet 10 7/8 inches tall and weighing 3200 pounds, this screen-used hero Bumblebee robot is an incredible feat of engineering craftsmanship. Built by renowned special effects company FXperts, Inc. (a.ka. John Frazier Special Effects), Bumblebee was the result of a direct request by Director Michael Bay for a full-size Transformer. He was used prominently in all the critical scenes in the film: when Sam and Mikaela are first introduced to all the Autobots; when Bumblebee is captured by Sector 7 with a helicopter; in the interior of the Hoover Dam; and on the back of a tow truck during the final battle sequences. As a major character in the film, Bumblebee has become one of the most popular and beloved Transformers. Since the opening of the movie, this Bumblebee robot has been on a worldwide tour, to such locations as Japan, Korea, London, Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago, New York, and Bolton, Mississippi. He was also featured at the Los Angeles premieres, Universal Studios, Cannes Festival, and Indy 500, where he drew as big of a crowd at the Indy cars. With poseable arms, Bumblee stands a full 16’ 10 7/8” tall and 13’ 5 13/16” wide when fully assembled. He is currently de-assembled and housed in three large wooden crates. Assistance with assembly can be provided, if needed.

it's CG in that screenshot though! Cool movie prop to own would be the dinosaur input device they used to animate it, I saw it at the berlin film museum
damn, beat me to it. I came in here just to post that...
Talking about the thumb prosthetics or the whole thing?
"Damn it! I told you keep your hands out of sight, you know that sh!t creeps me out, go put on your thumbs"
In one of the African mythologies, when you make a deal with the devil, he extracts your soul from the back of your neck (hence the band aid Wallas had there).
The thing I'd likely want most is a bar of soap from Fight Club:
Movie props? hmmm, might not be as adventurous as some of the choices in here, but I'd definitely would want to get a set piece or prop from a movies I LOVE (Doesn't have to be a cool prop though).
True, though your statement implies there's something there to be turned on by in the first place. I'm one of those rare freaks who though not gay, find Megan Fox as aesthetically appealing as roadkill.
I figure if you're going to pick someone who you'll likely never meet to ogle, you might as well pick someone with either a bit of class or no big toes growing out of their hands. [/rant]

I one of those rare artist that would be smitten by her and would be looking into her eyes and not give a damn about how her fingers or toes looked like. Of course if she was annoying to listen and talk to it would be a freaking deal breaker.

lots of aliens fans here, best movie ever. So my prop:
yeah its rly big, and took like 6 people to control just the tail, but, it'd be worth it.
There are a mother f-ton of replicas that are in some cases better than the originals.
Or
Sadly prop art is dying and some of the best props as of late have been all digital.
This is what came to mind for me too. Actually, the Spinner or the Voigt Kampf machine would be pretty cool.
Also, can we have this prop in fully working mode as shown in the movie?
Lots of wanted props in the thread, Ripley's trainers looks sweet.
Bruce Lee's weapons of choice.

Another one that came to mind would be one of the Gremlin puppets, preferably Stripe.
Ohh Good Choice!

Hell yeah. That movie is so underrated. It's cheesy today, but still a fun flick to watch.

Flight of the Navigator spaceship.. I'd sleep in it

So sexy with all it's wonkyness. Something the clone helmets lacked because they were done in cg and not real props that were hand sculpted and cast.

Coupled with that letter from the Transformers film crew that make her sound like garden variety trailer trash, I just don't get it.
