Ohh great, I get to show something.
I worked on this drawing casually over the summer months by only drawing it while sitting in coffee shops 1 - 2 times a week. It was done on 6 pieces of plain printer paper. I would overlap 2 pages and draw across the gap. I put them together in Photoshop later. Media used is Crayola Twistable color pencils. They have good texture, smooth, good gradients on smooth surfaces and they are cheap. I wanted the people linked together in a chain of physical touch. In the middle having everyone touch each other wasn't critical yet some sort of interaction or overlap was maintained. I also didn't plan much of anything. Each character in the chain became a random idea, that lead to another idea. The drawing unfolded itself over time.
