Tutorial: Creating a tileable stone floor (3DS Max, Zbrush, Photoshop)

Hi guys,
i made a tutorial for everyone (you might learn something, then again you might not). It's not heavily edited and i'm no pro, but you might be interested to watch it.

Hey Sampson,

I'm afraid I can't watch your video (damn work restrictions!) but it's great to see somebody contributing to the community.

As I can't see how you've done this it's difficult to criticize, however I would say that the bricks look a little too uniform in shape and size, and there would most likely be more variation in a real stone floor.

Yep, this is explained in the tut - i say something along the lines of "for the sake of this, i'm only going to make one brick then clone it over and over, but if it is going to be an important asset then you can go ahead and make more variations"

Thanks Pzychaoz. I'm trying to build me up some reputation within the community as well as making tutorials for people to learn from... so i can get a job some time lol (freelance is good aswell)

Nice tutorial man, good quality video aswell.
I keep thinking it's a wall tho, perhaps because of the way you orientate it in the viewport.

Yeah i think it works as a floor or a wall.... any sorta stoney brick surface
