Hey everyone. First time joining an unearthly challenge. So far we are a team of two. I'll be doing concepts and modeling; my partner will be doing modeling, texturing, unreal engine stuff.
Ok, so here's a preliminary concept and some backstory.
We wanted to get away from your typical violence and invasion end game scenes we've been seeing. Our scene will depict the Martian exodus and their escape to Earth. The planet has finally dried up, and the only hope for the Martians to continue their species is to migrate. To Earth.
I plan to expand the shot some more, revealing more of the canyon and Martian architecture. I want it to be a mix of all ancient pyramid building cultures. Egyptian temples, Greek basilicas, Indian and Cambodian carvings, Aztec and Mayan pyramids. The temple will also be expanded to be a spaceport as well, so we can get a close up of one of the ships being launched. Once I block out the scene it'll be easier for me to choose cool compositions to do better overpaints.
