UC 2009 'END GAME' | Big Hair and Keytars | 3D

The first thing that came to mind when i hear end game is the final boss battle for a game. So i spent some time thinking about what game i wanted to make a final level for. What would be epic enough? Fialing to figure that out I started thinking about tattoos and my friend has this amazing tatt of piano keys going up his arm (will post if i can find a pic of it). so i started imagining having floating piano keys everywhere and what kind of game could pull that off........and it came to me......


KEYTAR HERO!!!!.

so my entry is going to be the stage of the final boss battle in keytar hero. The stage is going to consist of a massive grand piano. the part between the open top and the keys will be the stage. It's going to be sitting on a massive mountain of broken pianos and piano parts (i recently played the brutal legend demo and the mountain of skulls got me thinking.)


all i have right now though is this crappy little doodle i did at work today...didn't turn out how i was expecting. will have to work on a better one tomorrow.



and for all of you making fun of keytars bask in it's MIGHT!!!

and another quick model of a midi keyboard i had on my desk. the idea is to model a few different ones and combine them with some broken non electric pianos to make the pile of stuff that the giant grand piano/stage sits on.

I think i have 2 more keytars to do and then i need to move on to an upright piano that's all broken in pieces.....that's gonna be rough....not sure if i should do it mostly in max or mudbox.
